Large Geometry Black Square Painting No.021

Rectangles of warm ivory, black, and a single strip of tan interlock across the canvas like an architect's sketch left half-finished. The palette knife texture gives every block its own surface — some smooth, some raised and cracked — so the grid never feels flat or printed, even in its most minimal sections.

This piece leans into a quiet, structured kind of abstraction, closer to mid-century modern than anything painterly or expressive. It suits interiors already working in warm neutrals and clean lines — a Scandinavian-influenced living room, a minimalist office, a hallway that wants geometry without noise. Hang it where the grid can be appreciated from a slight distance, letting the blocks resolve as a whole composition.
